Shows this Fall
Today we are announcing four shows in Ontario - Guelph, Paris, Hamilton, and Kingston.
For those of you here in this newsletter, the presale code is TWS26. Use that to get early tickets for Guelph, Paris, Hamilton, and Kingston.
Tix go on full sale tomorrow.
These shows will be full band, so if you missed our shows last year, this is a chance to see that band in full force.
The lovely Geordie Gordon will open most shows - some may remember him from The Magic or his work playing with US Girls or any number of bands he’s played in. I’ve been a fan since I saw teenage Geordie open for Arcade Fire back in 2004. His excellent new album is out now and all the songs have been in my head for months.
On top of these shows we have an epic tour opening for Ray LaMontagne. We begin in Salt Lake City in late August and end in New York in October; with 30 shows in between - if you are anywhere in middle America likely we will be playing near you. Playing some iconic venues like Red Rocks, the Ryman, and The Beacon. These shows will be duo, and provide a place to preview some new songs you might catch if you happen to be at one of these shows.
Tickets for this tour are here.
It’s been a minute since I wrote a newsletter; in this interim I made a record and had a baby. It is all very world altering. Coming through the newborn phase was as heavy and wild as it is for most; but I’m grateful to say everybody is healthy and well and it’s all getting sweeter and cuter as we move into the baby phase. Thinking of all the folks we met in Europe on tour in November when I was pregnant, all the well wishes we received; I still feel buoyed by that and feel that coming towards our small little world.
Lots to say here in this space and elsewhere, but for the moment I’m keeping my focus tight as I take some much needed time off while I shepherd this new little human into the world.
Back soon,
T
